LOS ANGELES—OCT 9, 2015—IndieCade, the premier international festival of independent games, has revealed the list of Official Game Selections for IndieCade Festival 2015, to be held in Culver City, CA October 23-25. These games – numbering more than 70 – were hand-picked by IndieCade’s curation committees for being some of the best of the year and will be showcased at the IndieCade Village throughout IndieCade Festival. The annual IndieCade Festival celebrates some of the most creative and diverse independent games of the year while also establishing a leading voice in the promotion, cultivation, and community of ind
ependent games development. 0002_shotIndieCade’s official selection of games are curated for multiple categories within the Festival and represent the innovation and diversity of independent projects.  The categories include: Big Games (physical, live action games often utilizing props), Digital games (across different platforms and utilizing different peripheral technologies), eSports (multiplayer competitive games), Night Games (games that transform an evening under the stars into a memorable, enchanted playground), Tabletop (card, tabletop and board games) and Virtual Reality (across different platforms and utilizing different peripheral technologies).

The full list of games in each category can be found at the following link:  http://www.indiecade.com/2015/selections.

“The Official Selections are an essential part of the IndieCade Festival — they let us push boundaries and demonstrate some experimental, adventurous, and surprising games,” said Stephanie Barish, chief executive officer, IndieCade. “Some are videogames, others are Big Games, others are board games or card games — and some you’ll experience only under the cover of darkness at Night Games. But whatever their category, these games help redefine what it means to play, show what’s possible to create as a game-maker, and explore the outer reaches of creativity in 2015. Plus they bring even more fun — 71 games you haven’t likely had the chance to see, featured in the IndieCade Village, for the playing.”
